The University Public School Phoenix is a tuition free Kindergarten through 8th grade public school managed by University Public Schools, working in affiliation with Arizona State University. Preschool and childcare are being planned on a "pay for use" basis and they are planned to be centers that are eligibile to receive DES childcare subsidy payments.

 

 

 

 

Needed Information for Enrollment

In order to be enrolled, the custodial parent/guardian must bring the following to the University Public School Phoenix Office:

• Original birth certificate
• Complete immunization records
• Parent photo identification

The person bringing the materials to the office MUST be the custodial parent or guardian and have proper identification.

There are many locations where you can buy uniforms, including www.target.com; www.frenchtoast.com (apply your purchase to our school account) or jcp.com. We are aware that there are many shades of the color khaki and any of the shades of the color khaki are acceptable for the pants/shorts/skirts.

As a reminder, the uniform is as follows:

Tops (Maroon colored):

• Solid maroon collared polo shirts with buttons (no logos), shirts may be short or long sleeved
• Must be size appropriate
• Must be tucked in

Bottoms (Khaki colored):

• Khaki color pants, shorts, skorts, or skirts (no logos or writing)
• Must be size appropriate
• Hemlines for girl’s shorts, skorts or skirts must extend beyond the out-stretched fingers as the arm is relaxed against the side of the body
• No jeans or denim may be worn except on designated non-uniform days

Shoes:

• Athletics shoes (required for P.E.), and sandals, with back straps, are permitted

Outerwear:

• Turtlenecks may be worn underneath the polo style shirt
• Jackets, sweatshirts or sweaters (no logos, except ASU of course) may be worn over a uniform shirt with the collar showing
